特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

  • A small evergreen tree.
  • Leaves coriaceous, oblanceolate, 10–18 cm long, 3–4 cm broad, obtuse, narrowly cuneate, remotely serrulate, glabrous above, but pubescent along the costa, densely ferrugineous-pubescent beneath, the costa plane above, raised beneath, the lateral veins 11–13 per side, indistinct above, raised beneath.
  • Inflorescences in terminal panicles longer than the leaves, densely ferrugineous-pubescent, the flowers small, about 2 mm across, numerous; sepals 5, pubescent without; petals 5, glabrous, 3 larger and 2 smaller; stamens 2.
  • Drupe globose, 6–8 mm across.

分布

  • 台灣 : scattered in forests at medium altitudes.
  • 世界 : The Himalayas, China to Japan.
